I’d take it, would love to live near a cemetery. Such nice quiet places they are. Soothing even.

Cemeteries are a great business investment. People are dying to get one!

I have a great job with 500 people under me.
    I’m a groundskeeper at a cemetery.
(I also have a license to shoot gophers from the government of the United Nations.)

Sandy: I want you to kill every gopher on the course!

Carl Spackler: Check me if I’m wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers, they’re gonna lock me up and throw away the key…

Sandy: Gophers, ya great git! The gophers! The little brown furry rodents!

Actually, I don’t think it’s all that much quieter than any other neighbor.
There’s all the lawn mowing and gounds work, the occassional backhoe digging new graves, cars coming and going, and some young people (including one young woman I once dated) think they’re a nice place to park and, uh…

I had a Catholic cemetery for a backyard neighbor. Very nice, pretty and there were lots of small animals which played in it. My grandson loved to watch them. Plus, the “neighbors” never partied, or had screaming matches with their spouses, or got drunk and ran over your garbage cans.

I wonder if the realtor is asking a stiff price for the house?

There’s a small and very old cemetery across the street from me. It even contains a couple of Revolutionary War era graves.

When I bought the house the area was very rural, only one other house in sight.

I took a picture of our house from a short distance away with the cemetery in the foreground, and upon seeing it my Uncle remarked, “Nice marble orchard in your front yard.”

The plots are mostly very small on that street.
