    i could never quite grasp the concept of “free range” . i mean, once you turn on the gas don’t you usually have to pay for it?

    I guess that ‘Free Range’ is the new and improved Organic. So retailers can up the price once again. I think that if it came out of the ground or from an animal it’s organic, ‘Free Range’ or not. The stuff we eat that comes from a chemical company is another story.

    I dont think there is anymore real free range…they can call it free range when chickens are in an open pen, but there can be one chicken for a one inch space in those crowded pens also…
