    Actually, I’d rather guess they are, heavy overweight is more common there, as it is much cheaper to get oversized junk food as compared to a tiny fancy meal.

    Yes, but most comments are speaking of the people in the comic, not of real people. That would be Dogsniff saying ‘We must be on Wall Street’ and Wallaby saying ‘We look like marbles’, etc.
