    Richard, I assume that is a reference to the W.C. Fields movie where he repeatedly looks out of the door of the cabin and says that. And gets hit in the face with “snow” that is obviously thrown by somebody just off camera, only at his face…not even trying to pretend it’s real….great fourth wall stuff…

    “The Fatal Glass of Beer” remains the outright funniest thing I have seen in 60 years.

    @Varnes

    I understand that in the last scene of that movie, just after he gets finished throwing his son out into the storm, no snow gets thrown in his face. This was because Fields had threatened to deck the guy who was doing the throwing between takes.

    Câlisse de tabernac! (mild Québeçois “sacres”, or oaths, literally translated as “chalice of tabernacle” – so invented that the French-Canadiens don’t take the Lord’s name in vain)

    Hmmmm. Warmer AND noticeably thinner in his fantasy. Guess he doesn’t need that extra layer of fat in Tahiti…

    Go back inside, Pierre, and watch “The Day After Tomorrow” on DVD. Dreams might really do come true!
