    This is probably as close as Danae is going to get to expressing the sentiments of normal people. There are some of us, however who lament the lame winter this year….Warm winter, cold summer?

    @Wiley: So if you do these a couple of weeks in advance (as you’ve stated in the past), you must have had this one lying in wait for it to snow in March. Pretty sneaky, but nothing gets by me.

    Do I win anything?

    Well, I guess Wiley’s been getting snow all winter in Maine, but we’ve had almost nothing down here in Connecticut.
    Maybe it’s the yin-yang principle – last year we had 4 feet of it, and this year we have less than 4 inches.
    I’m just scared; a winter with 50 degree temperatures may well mean another summer with 100+ degree days (as we had a few years ago).
    So I’ll take the snow, thank you very much.

    And this relates to snow how?

    Actually, it is climate change. And do not confuse weather with climate. Weather is what it is doing today or maybe this season. Climate is what it does on average over, say, a hundred years (or more).

    Have you forgotten last year already? I could live with a cold summer, it keeps the A/C cost down.

    I just hope our warm winter doesn’t accelerate the hurricane season. I live in Florida.

    Excuse an ignorant Indian – but that rather covers the description of a conservative…

    If winter didn’t arrive until mid-February (like here), then as far as I’m concerned it can stay a few more weeks. But it should move out by April.

    ++++

    Like it ever listens to me anyway!

    March is notorious for snow storms.. Growing up in the Midwest many years we had a blizzard and a foot of snow

    When I lived in Montreal, winter used to like to hang around well into April. That’s the facts, Jack.
