You may have meant the sexist, segregationist, warmongering senator from Georgia, Richard B. Russell. I see that you were most impressed by the fact that he was also an avowed Christian dominionist. Yup, definitely not me.

    To Arye Uygur: The SF story you mention is reminiscent of one of the segments from the animated movie _Allegro Non Troppo, a pastiche on Disney’s original Fantasia.

    Me too. I’ve always dreaded the Sunday comic because of the tiny size. This is a HUGE improvement. :-)
