I get the feeling Teacher’s going to sneak off to the women’s room with her bottle after this class. . .

I’m wondering now if Mr. Miller has a coin with religion on one side, and politics on the other?

and if it lands on end…
nope. but i gotta admit this could turn into a great riff on “Creationist” theory.

NO—-Mr. Miller is showing that the facts based on empirical scientific methods take precedence over religious beliefs which are based on just that….beliefs.

So for all you millions of people out there who need proof that science trumps religion, visit the Non Sequitur comic strip at gocomics.com! Just think, this comic strip could settle that nasty little Middle East conflict once and for all! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Wiley Miller, God!

So, will Mr. Miller’s likeness be standing on top of a golden calf?

Science trumps religion? Hardly. Quite frankly, I just shake my head at this whole argument. People on both sides of it dig their heels in like stubborn mules, neither refusing to budge. Ever think there might be something in the middle? That’s how life is, often enough. . .

I was mocking kreole. How could you miss that?

I didn’t. Just stating my opinion on the subject. Been a lot of both science and religion bashing going on all over this site the last few days. . .

And the “golden calf” comment adds to the mockery. . .

That’s just too funny!! I’m with you, let’s just meet in the middle.

Speaking of the Middle East conflict: isn’t most of that born out of opposing religions?
I’d be genuinely interested if you could supply details of a national conflict that was born out of differing scientific schools of thought?

Danae’s teacher is the unfortunate victim of a world view that most under 25’s share – anyone over the age of 30 is an old dinosaur!
