Somebody Short:
They also played it as the intro to the tv show the first year it was on. And I don’t mean the re-runs The guy who played the guitar was in the original cast of MASH, along with Ugly John and Spearchucker. Anyone remember his name?!

Private Seldman (Ken Pryus) in the movie. And that took more Googling than I would have expected!
BTW, don’t forget Gary Burghoff, the only Radar, ever!

It is estimated that every year, over 200,000 people are affected by suicide - at least 6 to 10 for each death. Over 30,000 people die of suicide each year in this country - … one every 16 minutes. It is as if a jet plane with 85 people aboard crashed and everyone aboard perished. If that happened for 3 days in a row, there would be a national outcry of gigantic proportions.
In addition to being insensitive and offensive this cartoon may give someone the message that suicide is an appropriate response to distress - which it is not.
I think this cartoon is an inappropiate way to address the subject of the “sorry state of the economy”

I personally know 3 people who have lost loved ones to suicide by hanging. I lost a good friend to suicide last week and his burial was today!
One million people die by suicide on our planet each year - and that is NOT funny. Not funny at all.
This is in very poor taste Wiley Miller!
