    also, while lots is said about Prince Charming, you never hear anything about KING Charming. I guess he changed his name when he became King, just like Edward VII and Edward VIII did.

    Prince Charming is always the one who marries the girl who is a commoner in fairy tales and fables.

    If a “Prince Charming” marries a woman who becomes the monarch of a country, he might still have the position title of “Prince” when she is the Queen.

    The current queen of England is married to a prince.
