Where is his whistle? I thought whistleblowers couldn’t just use their fingers and mouth.

Hey, this is an old one from years ago. Is Wiley on vacation and reprinting some of the classics? This one truly qualifies.

Like NBC said in its summer rerun campains back in the late 1990’s, “if you haven’t seen then before, then it’s new to you”. Which it is with me. Other strips like One Big Happy, Citizen Dog, Fox Trot Classics (I know some of those), and Preteena are repeats you, fresh fare to me.

Would be nice to see the dog Duncan again, as in , Duncan rules.

I missed Wiley’s announcement before, and just read it. For those who do not know who Homer is, He is a soul who undergoes many incarnations, often accompanied by his friend, Duncan the Dog. Homer’s incarnations usually do not end well, particularly in vast tracts of history. He usually ends up back in what one presumes is a heavenly lounge, talking things over with a God type who sits at a computer and launches Homer on his incarnations. Wiley’s last episode of Homer ended abruptly with a message that we could follow that adventure in a forthcoming book… Homer is a basically a nice guy and it will be good to see him and Duncan again.

It’s actually Bert, who is Homer’s “Counseling Angel”, who sits at the giant computer in Heaven, not God.
