    Just a minor quibble. They don’t tax the dead. They tax inheritors, not bequeathers.

    The dead will not cross over yet. If I die, I rather to have my body cremate instead bury in the wasting dirt.

    Interesting thought… In Canada, they don’t tax lottery/gambling winnings, but they do have an inheritance/estate tax. What if you put in your will that your estate was to be declared a lottery with a limited number of scratch & win tickets that you gave to your heirs….

    As much as it costs to die I hope I can hang around long enough after they put me in “the box” to see the tears shed when the state takes most of what I have for inheritance taxes…and the “greedy buggers” (also known as my family) cry harder than ever because there won’t be any for them.
