Yeah, he has a problem telling the truth, and she doesn’t like being bothered by the truth.

I guess she thinks she’s “working smart”, by getting in ONE paper covering both history and creative-writing.
ROFL

The History we were fed in Elementary and High School (50’s-60’s) was indistinguishable from Creative Writing

Nice thing is, she can’t get in trouble for it since the assignment was to get their personal perspective. Eddie’s tales may not be true, but they’re definitely his perspective…

JonD17 Sorry the elementary class of the 50s and 60s is a lot better then the college is today. I had a college (please don’t call him a Professor) didn’t like something about the Eisenhower administration. Said he was not politically able. I said he was that this was the same guy who worked with Roosevelt, Churchill, Charles DeGual, Montgomery and George Patton. My (please don’t call him a Professor) said I don’t think that was the same guy. I had to look at him and say “No, your wrong”. He blew me off. Big time. The thing about this was he was my age. Only new what he learned from books. Must have had a professor who did Diddn’t like Ike.

We need more Cap’n Eddies to help rewrite history. Some of my best lessons were learned over a pot of coffee….or a pitcher of beer.

I thought Danae needs her grandmother helping her to do the assignment at Diner. But she ended up with Captain Eddie at Diner.
Oh my goodness! LOLs!

This is the same bunch who thought FDR solved the great depression by throwing money at it, the keynesian diehards at Harvard when BO was indoctrinated.

I HATE when this strip goes to the diner and the New England accent. A also hate the flying boy stories. (Ordinary Basil). I only use ordinary basil in cooking. Guess I’ll be skipping it for the next week.

Think Katharine Hepburn - that’s her accent. more-or-less.

Katherine Hepburn’s accent was very mild. The “New England” accent varies. Capt. Eddy has the “downeaster” accent. I lived 3 years in Maine and 1 on Cape Cod, and can attest the Wiley has captured the old voice. Ayup!
