Nick Anderson of the Houston Chronicle is an avowed independent who covers politics and contemporary cultural issues in a way that connects with readers. His loose, idiosyncratic style carries with it an unconventional message that has broad appeal. "I approach my work with a healthy skepticism for the ideological extremists littering our political landscape," explains Anderson.

It’s pick on Apple time. When will it be pick on GE, Exxon-Mobil, and all the other HUGE corporations that take advantage of what America provides to all from the tax dollars collected from the middle class and poor?

If it was GM or GE the slots just do not pay out. Apple paid 6 BILLION! that is NOT chump change! So what is a liberals view? Punish them by Taxing them more? I tell you what you should do, stop charging a lot less than 35% to repatriate the money they do make outside our borders. Then maybe they would be more inclined to invest in the USA.
