I’m so glad you admit you think improving the economy & getting people back to work is a lot of crap. Your candor is quite refreshing.

Actually, Obama won’t be able to do much without some input from congress, which is going to make the American people more and more frustrated and more and more likely to elect a Democratic government in 2016. That congress will be able to achieve many of the things on Obama’s agenda, so he’s going to win one way or another.

What you don’t see is a bit up the way the Republicans tearing up the tracks and carting away the rails.

Republicans are traitors to the American dream and only want to destroy everything, says the liberal troll.

They ARE traitors to the American dream. They have done more damage to the American economy and jobs in the past three years than any other single actor. Because NOTHING is more important than low taxes on the rich. Not embassy safety, not military pensions, not jobs, not the poor, not the middle class, not the very planet we live on.

The fact is, the Republicans met several times prior to Mr. Obama’s first inaugural to plan on how to block anything he proposed. In well documented and frequently videotaped events, Republicans plotted their, “if Obama is for it, we’re against it”, agenda. Conservatives who deny this have simply not googled the proof or, in an effort to promote their own agendas, are lying.
    ^
The earliest proposals made by Mr. Obama were so far to the right of where liberals wanted him to be, he was unable to excite his base into supporting him in 2009, the same year that Mr. Boehnor famously, and on tape said, “I got 98% of what I wanted, I’m happy.” Some of Mr. Obama’s first offerings were based on ideas first proposed by Republicans, from Romney’s Mass. Healthcare idea, to Marco Rubio’s immigration inform idea. But the moment Mr. Obama said, “These are ideas we should try, Republicans said these are ideas that must die.”
    ^
None of the three branches of gov’t have served the American people as we need and deserve. The President is unwilling to take Congress to task as they deserve and unable to force any kind of consensus, even in his own party; the Supreme Court, in direct conflict with the concerns of Geo. Washington, John Adams, and Tho. Jefferson, have permitted moneyed interests to take a leading role in the selection of our political leaders; and Congress has become a tool for petty people to make themselves rich by serving lobbyists and manipulating the stockmarkets while making the middle class smaller, and impoverished Americans increase in number. Adding to this, the media, that ‘watchdog’ of America meant to protect us from the self aggrandizement of those who would weaken and divide our nation are themselves become part of the problem. Our watchdog is the lapdog of corporate interests and rather than expose injustice and protect Americans from corruption, abuse, and harm, they are just another TV reality show with an excess of commentary.
    ^
We need more people willing to point out the hypocrisy and harm. Jon Stewart does it, but it’s not his job. He’s a comedian. But sadly, it is from people like him that we see the videos of our “leaders”, and our media, lying to us.
You can trivialize HIM, but consider THIS
    ^
When you see a video where a reporter says "How dare he use the Executive Order " followed by five videos of the same network defending the President they liked when HE used the E.O., you MUST recognize the hypocrisy or wear the mantle of the hypocrite yourself.
    ^
When a Republican says the Democrats were the ones who wanted to shut down the gov’t, and then ten videos show Republicans demanding and being proud of shutting down the gov’t (at the cost of 24 billion dollars), that is hypocrisy, it is a LIE.
    ^
The democrats are also hypocritical on many things, but this cartoon, and many of the comments that follow, are about Mr. Obama’s plan to use the E.O.
I hate his use of it as the next president will see this as a precedent. But in the face of a congress prouder of what it has blocked than what it has accomplished, I see no other choice.
    Respectfully,
    C.

He’s more likely judging Obama’s future performance on his past performance so “crap” would be an accurate description.

if bho was interested in jobs he would get harry reid to pass some of the job bills the house sent him// but if people have jobs instead of being on the dole they will be less likely to vote for democrats

What does “Nowhere Man” mean? Is it demeaning? Is it dismissive? Is it belittling? What does using this description accomplish?

    Much appreciate your answer! Thanks.

, probably an inveterate gambler, ‘Bet you’re someone who proudly voted twice for the Nowhere Man, aren’t you? …’

    …and lost.
I don’t vote in American elections. I’m a registered voter in three other countries but not the USA. Your lengthy explanation of how you have no respect for the bloke doesn’t interest me. I care neither here or there about Obama save for his/US foreign policies. You can call him whatever you like: I don’t care, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest.
What did interest me was how you asked folks for “Civil Discourse should be our goal here…and dismissive, insulting, demeaning and belittling language coupled with inflammatory name-calling really accomplishes only two things:….”” and then thereafter repeatedly diss your president, knowing it will probably inflame a few Obama supporters thus avoiding a civil discourse. So, I ask again, and I paraphrase your words: "…dismissive, insulting, demeaning and belittling language coupled with inflammatory name-calling really accomplishes…?

Now do you understood how you are a hypocrite?
