For me it is important for all sides to speak. It allows us to know who they are and how they stand. Shutting them up doesn’t stop them. And it also shows that we are weak in the free speech department.

The REALITY is that people who make racist and homophobic statements are usually bad for business.

If an employee of Hobby Lobby got fired for saying straight people were immoral the conversation would be about employer’s rights.

Ah yes, tolerance in Liberal Land means we will tolerate what you believe as long as we agree with it.

And then there’s that youtube video showing the whole family “reality” is a created FAKE! From yuppies, to millionaires, to “down home dudes”, with beards. Another case where the folks running “reality” shows aren’t as dumb as the audience???

    A&E vs. Cracker Barrel….
    .
“Who goes to A&E? People with an appreciation for the Arts, and Entertainment. I go there for Mad Men and Breaking Bad.”

Odd, but here in America we view “Breaking Bad” and “Mad Men” on AMC.

No, that’s not all. He also made some ignorant comments about blacks not minding Jim Crow laws.

Religious people who say they “don’t hate the sinner, they hate the sin” are ignoring human nature. When someone does something that is considered bad, he or she is viewed as being bad. Bad people are feared and should be punished.
Saying homosexual acts are bad is basically saying that homosexuals are bad and should be feared and punished. This kind of ‘hate’ mongering should be exposed as such. And yes it should be shown as not being acceptable.

Bad for business for whom? Whatever A&E decides will offend a lot of folks.

He made a comment based on a couple of passages. I didn’t see him railing against other biblical teachings with are freely disregarded by the vast majority of Christians.

"Left wingers all deserve a painful death they promote for innocent unborn babies. Savage. Barbaric.

    1) Not all liberals support abortion. I personally believe it’s wrong.
    2) Yours is a very hateful, unchristian attitude.

    @Ryan (Say what now‽)

The problem with religious people is that they signal out homosexuality. All people sin, all people are sinners therefore we are all equal in the eyes of God. Celebrities who are Christians should refrain from answering "bait"questions, they can remain true to their beliefs while not falling into the “homophobic” trap.
    .
As far as the Duck Dynasty star; I don’t think he’s chimed in on the controversy itself, which is good. He is technically “suffering” for his faith; but being the patriarch of a very successful company, he is not suffering much. All people of faith should be so lucky.
