Oh yes please! The likes of Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert need to feed their families, and Perry running again is Manna straight from heaven…

I’m wondering who will be the first to compare this to Anthony Weiner for Mayor of NYC and Elliot Spitzer for Comptroller of NYC?
    .
Both and or either of which would be torturous.
    .
But then, I don’t like Anthony Weiner because he is a weinie! And I don’t like Elliot Spitzer because he’s a well know another word for another word for weiner!

While I would appreciate the humor value of Rick Perry running for president — someone just like George W. Bush only with even LESS intelligence and a weaker support group around — I would prefer to go back to the days when we had two credible candidates for top public office. I am tired of the two-year circus that is American presidential campaigns.

Oh, I hope not. (though it would be good fodder for the editorial cartoonists)

When the voices in your head get overwhelming, please back off from the keyboard, the voices are not your friends and are out to make you sound foolish.

    Yes!
    .
Since that is the answer to your question, perhaps now you can apologize for the slur and promise not to make it again.
    .
    “Democratic practice of personal destruction…”
Once again a right winger takes a well known part of the Republican smear campaign (as conducted by Newt Gingrich and Lee Atwater) and directs the charge towards Democrats.
    .
I get calls every week from Republicans looking for money. They tell awful lies about whatever they think I will respond to.

Please let that silly person run again. I would love to hear more stories about n-word ranch/rock/whatever he calls it.

dt: compare, just for a starter, the list of hate-filled “names” conservatives heap on President Obama, then compare it to “W”, and “Shrub”, which was merely the English translation of his own company that he named. Then look at your own and other posts by “conservative Christians” calling for the destruction of all Muslims, or anyone “good Christians” disagree with. “Hate” from liberals, compared to right wing conservatives, makes you seem a total fool to even suggest it.

Common to almost all schools of Gnosticism were four of what one could say were moral judgments:

The God of the Old Testament is evil. He keeps the divine sparks or Spirit enslaved in matter.
The cosmos is likewise evil or negative; as it is the evil god’s creation
The Good God is a transcendent Spiritual being, who is utterly alien to this world, and had nothing to do with its creation
The Savior – whether Christ, Seth, the Thought (Ennoia) of God, or some other figure – is an emissary of the transcendent God who has descended into this lower world to confer gnosis on those able to receive it (the gnostic race).

No matter how crazy Texas is, I still think Florida is crazier.
Our legislature, in order to close down phony charities, banned all computers and smart phones.

“Has any Liberal cartoonist or politician or Media “star” (Stewart/Colbert/etal) ever, ever given politeness or respect or equal rights to any Conservative?”
    -
Rick Perry is your example of a ‘conservative’, who should be given politeness and respect?
    -
    Oops.

^btw, dt: I watch Stewart and Colbert, and have often seen them show extraordinary restraint (given the comic potential) and respect to their conservative, even arch conservative guests on the program. That they, or their writers, take accurate jabs at those conservatives in jokes, monologues, and skits, is just well-deserved revelaton.

BTW: Perry has to live in Texas because it’s the only state other than Alaska big enough to hold his ego, but Caribou Barbie has claim to Alaska.
