    Not to the people who want a fiscally responsible government and who know that we can’t tax our way to prosperity.

    The GOP has never been, and is not now, fiscally responsible. Checked the debt lately? And the lack of willingness to pay for it on the GOP side? When they pass a budget that actually has numbers in it, maybe they’ll be taken seriously.

    And are you saying that the Dems have been any better?

    If our gutless miscreant lacks both the courage and foresight to see that our economy cannot long sustain his wasteral spending spree then responsible Republicans have no choice but to say NO to save the nation from this spendthrift radical!

    Anderson’s alternate universe, again.
    The GOP should be the “loyal opposition” party in congress;
    following up threats to vote “no” on Obama and the Democrat’s agenda, with actual unified NO VOTES.
    -
    But these GOP leaders appear to be bullied and cowed and fearful of media scorn, and can be expected to CAVE-IN, on voting for nominees in the bottom-of-the-barrell qualifications, as they just did with 4 GOP joining 54 Dems to send Hagel to head the Defense Department!
    -
    God help our military volunteers in uniform.
    Hagel is wrong on every important issue…the constitutional duty to defend America, the duty to support our friends like Israel, and the duty to oppose and not aid and abet our enemies like the Islamic governments with an agenda to do genocide on the Jewish state of Israel.
    -
    I know God will continue helping Israel….and God will no doubt punish the USA for disobeying Genesis 12:3.

    Too bad the GOP didn’t filibuster the sequester. They wanted it so badly!

    “The GOP has never been, and is not now, fiscally responsible. Checked the debt lately? "
    .
    hahahahaha, that’s what we’re talking about!
    Your guy is on stage now. You can’t blame Republicans for the mess he’s been making for years. He has illegally avoided passing a budget for 4 years!

    Polls say Americans are waking up, and the GOP has a DISAPPROVAL with 69% of them.

    Note to dt, and so many others upset with Hagel, I am not Jewish, the less than one percent of Americans who are are NOT the majority, and the flag of the United States of AMERICA now has 50 stars, and NONE OF THEM are the Star of David. Not one single Muslim or Arab country has fired first on U.S. Navy vessels, and refused to stop, so calling Israel our “ally” and “friend” is misplaced at best.

    And please note, Democrats AND GOP folks, it is time to put the UNITED STATES FIRST, and stop wasting money, and our young men and women’s lives to defend the most “aggressor” nation in the MIddle East.

    @ARodney

    The GOP controlled the House and Senate when Clinton was President and they cut spending giving Clinton the ‘Projected Surplus’

    They have passed a budget with actual numbers, iut is harry Reid that is screaming NO! It is harry Reid that refuses to allow the Senate to read budget bills passed by The House.

    Odd how you give the Democrat Controlled House and Senate from January 2007 to December 2010 a pas for their failure to pass a single budget, no, you cheered when they increased the debt ceiling, i.e. “Kicked the can down the road.”

    You must be deft and blind as you do not realize the Republicans increased Taxes on the Rich in late 2012.

    @Mr. King

    Numbers do not lie. The CBO said spending is indeed up since Obama first took office.
