    He’s a lame duck. Now he’s going to stop listening to his advisers, and do what he wants.

    @coraryan

    Maybe if Mittens and PR gave actual numbers for how they’d balance the budget, they’d have had a chance. Hint: you lose credibility when the “budget hawk” can’t explain his numbers.

    Well, Doc you could say that he was re-elected because he was successful in painting such a dark and evil picture of his opponent that no one wanted the other guy and so…….

    You know, considering his first Cabinet, and the fact that he is indeed black, the Obama administration has been pretty diverse.

    @Ms. Ima

    Overall, Obama’s first term cabinet was more diverse than G.W. Bush’s. cabinets. White males made up 52% of Bush’s cabinet, but only 43% of Obama’s.

    Bush did have a more diverse cabinet than his predecessors, & had very high profile members in Colin Powell & Condoleeza Rice. Obama has an image problem with Hillary Clinton’s departure.

    Since Susan Rice was clearly unacceptable to you, who besides John Kerry was talked about in conservative circles as Clinton’s replacement?

    If the outcry from conservatives over the lack of diversity is sincere, I’ll take this as a sign of progress.

    It has been said over and over. Even in Simpson-Bowles. Cut spending. I will repeat cut spending. That all by itself will balance the budget. And repeatedly we have said exactly where to cut. But to make it simple- 25% across the board except must pay interest on our $16.3T debt. That means defense, medicare, welfare, social security, medicaid, education, environment and big bird.

    Or that his opponent is an empty hat that was not able to convince the voters the President was the dark and horrible, evil Kenyan that mittens portrayed.

    But the reality is President Obama better represents more Americans that vote than mittens, even if mittens and lyin’ ryan were able to explain their magic numbers. mittens and lyin’ ryan lacked credibilty and flip flopped on everything.

    It isn’t. It’s just a nit-picking session, as usual. They’d be critical of too many women, too old, too young, or too many non-whites, etc.

    @cjr53

    that’s so funny. Here you are repeating the same lies ABOUT ryan and romney and yet Obama is moving to adopt the plan that they had.

    whatever cjr53. You say that Obama represents more americans “that vote”(ed)" then proceed to use two slurs to name his opponents. Just like Obama, yes indeed. So civil, so tolerant, so eager to unite rather than divide.

    I guess you are right then.

    “f the outcry from conservatives over the lack of diversity is sincere, I’ll take this as a sign of progress”

    No Joe, the outcry is from the left not from conservatives.

    ""It’s embarrassing as hell," New York Democrat Charles Rangel, one of the most senior black members of Congress, said of the Obama appointments.

    New Hampshire Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen, whose state has the only all-female delegation in Congress, described the appointments as “disappointing.”

    “We need a government that looks like America so we can address the concerns that we hear from across the spectrum,” she said."

    Do you automatically blame the Republicans for everything without actually bothering to read the facts?
