the “Battleground States” polls are UP on Obama because the RED States all have GOP governors who have succeeded in getting Republican bills passed to create a business environment that helps free enterprise to expand jobs and hire more of that state’s unemployed….the voters being polled are enjoying the benefits from GOP governing but are likely being polled in numbers where more Dems are represented than GOP…..like the national polls…..because the MSM and many pollsters prefer Obama’s re-election and they are cheating for him……in face to face debates (3) this month, the contrast is so obvious that Romney may win #2 and #3 also…..

The Battleground States are up economically because the GOP governors scored as much federal money as they could get their hands on and then accused the federal government of spending too much money. But not enough Rednecks fell for the scam.

Romney won the debate, and in 1980, Carter had similar lead over Reagan, and we all know how that turned out.

I shall repeat myself….That is an Important point: the polls have not moved in either direction all summer log. Obama got a bump after the convention, but not a big one. If you read Nate Silvers blog on the polls and polling he tells a story of a voting public that has largely already made up their minds and the undecided making up fewer than 5% of “likely” voters. It is a time worn fact that republican turnout is consistently higher in all elections, so you are not going to see much of a net increase there except from the undecided. Any increase in voters will come from those who fall into the “registered, but not likely voters” and they generally do not vote republican, they vote only when enthused, which is a back handed way of saying that i Obama can inspire them to go to the polls he will get their vote. This debate will not help Obama on that score, but for those of us that have already made up our minds nothing willard lies to us about is going to change our minds.

“the “Battleground States” polls are UP on Obama because the RED States all have GOP governors who have succeeded in getting Republican bills passed to create a business environment that helps free enterprise to expand jobs and hire more of that state’s unemployed…” Wow! That’s the most amazingly nonsensical interpretation for any event that I’ve seen since the beginning of this Presidential election cycle (somewhere back during the Mesozoic). But then, you don’t think the Earth is that old, do you?
