Excellent cartoon. You can always tell when all the cartoonists zig and only a few zag. There are too many predictable taxpayer stuck with restaurant/hotel bill cartoons. This is original. Why Anderson is one of my faves.
Regardless of who you are voting for, or if you aren’t voting at all, call your congressman and demand the passage of HD 2755 Federal Reserve Abolition Act. Introduced by Ron Paul on June 15, 2007, it contains all the ingredients to expell the Fed Board of Governors and repeal the Federal Reserve Act.
Nick Anderson of the Houston Chronicle is an avowed independent who covers politics and contemporary cultural issues in a way that connects with readers. His loose, idiosyncratic style carries with it an unconventional message that has broad appeal. "I approach my work with a healthy skepticism for the ideological extremists littering our political landscape," explains Anderson.

Thank you very much. Now, stay out of my way and leave me alone! I have markets to exploit!
(Unless, of course, I fall on my arse again, and then you’ll be there to save me, won’t ya’ buddy?)

It’s a bit like a teenager to his parents.
-“Be careful with that saw, sweetheart.”
-“Mom, I’m grown up, I can do that myself.”
A bit later…
-“Mom, I cut myself!”

Karl Marx was correct, when he said that you could sell, to the people, the rope that you are going to hang them with.

If only tax-payers could get corporations off their backs.
