Celebrate Independence Day with Star-Spangled Comics
by GoComicsIt's been an interesting year for America. The 2016 presidential race has voters' emotions running high, senators are staging sit-ins in Congress, and the Supreme Court has been playing one man down since February.
But today, none of that matters. It's Independence Day, which means Americans of all ages, economic backgrounds and political parties are coming together to celebrate truth, justice and the American way.
Independence Day is the one day each year where flagrant displays of patriotism are not only tolerated, but encouraged. Even food gets the red, white and blue treatment.
Nothing says "freedom" like beers and brats.
Of course, Independence Day wouldn't be the same without the fireworks "...
But even if fireworks are illegal where you live, you can still celebrate.
Be the firework you wish to see in the world.
