They had a playground below the screen. Kids in pajamas playing before the movie…And some idiot always drove off without putting the speaker back.

“Gorgo” the only British giant rubber suit monster and it was very good. I won’t spoil it but it is nice. Even has the bond between a child and the monster.

Cheyenne, the last few summers, has been trying to evoke the old drive-in feeling with movies on a giant screen in one of the parks, complete with inflatable slides nearby before showtime.

That’s why they started broadcasting the soundtrack on low-power FM, so you could use your own radio and they didn’t lose speakers.
