    I agree about “cutting some slack”; but why do they have to make their forcast seem like “certainty!”

    A 50% chance within the area but not a 50% as a certainty since it can change at any moment.

    Certainty? At least one of the local TV weather dudes has said more than once: Today’s forecast you can take to the bank; tomorrow’s forecast is about 80% good; three days out it’s about 50-50. Everything after that is show business.
