    Hey, didn’t the dude on the left try to scare the world when he got fat and bearded? And that guy on the right, well, I think enough has been said about him on bumper stickers.

    LOL! I love how you can do this in the States and not get into any trouble. But I wouldn’t create political humor in Singapore…lest you wish to go down real bad…REAL bad…

    Hi Tame, I suppose you prefer your martinis stirred and shaken?

    Brilliant strip! Maybe we need a new country! What would the bots say to starting all over again?

    You have a good memory, Derrick. I find it interesting to see how these two men have proceeded with their lives since leaving politics. Although one of them is heavily involved in the politics of making money. Say what we will, at this point, Gore is laughing all the way to the bank.

    Singapore. Your cartoons and comments come from afar. Of course, from your geographical viewpoint, the same could be said of mine, Lub Lub. I am sorry to hear that you must exercise discretion before commenting on politics. Discretion is not an issue here unless of course, you are stupid enough to make threats.

    If only we could, Jon. I am sure many of us would like to be able to start out fresh.

    An interesting thought, CR. I know I won’t be around but what an interesting concept. I am sure that someone has written a work of fiction to the effect and it might not be as outside the realm of possibility as one might think.

    Well hello there IM. I am pleased that you enjoy the cartoon. (Your middle name wouldn’t happen to be Fenton, would it?. As a fan of Star Trek, I am just curious.) If you would like, please choose a favorite NanoWorld and email me your address. It would be my pleasure to print and sign it and send it to you. If you would desire such, again, it would be my pleasure. — tame.nanoworld@gmail.com.

    It is most likely that your figure and perhaps even a higher one, represents the “true” unemployment figures. There is so much that is “right” about this country and then after a few hours of the evening news, it can become discouraging when your realize how much is wrong. I am not a Pollyanna but I tend to believe the glass is half full. I am disconcerted by so much but then, an afternoon in the park or at the zoo or at a ballgame with family and friends, the freedom to come and go and the ability to do so much because of our freedoms, has a restorative effect on my wounded psyche. Thanks for your comment, IM.

    Close, ML. That is how I prefer my scotch on the rocks. (with a twist, of course) Unless it happens to be a 16 year old, single malt. Then, the only way to savor it, is “neat.”

    @Lady Anne Wehrley

    Thank you, Anne. Maybe we do. I am not a big believer in “the good old days” theorem of life in this country as I would like to think THESE are the best of times. However, the political landscape has become the most convoluted as well as polluted as possibly in the history of our country.

    Oh, how I long for Bush! That didn’t come out right. Graduation Party day. Super busy getting ready, but wanted to check in real quick with the Sherpaites! Have a great day.
