    TCL, I know that you told me before that you usually can’t post back right away, I understand… just letting you know I posted back, if you get the chance… :)

    Our dog, though a pleasant personality, never did figure out that if you pull on the leash too hard, it would make her cough. So, we’d go down a trail to a cough every few seconds.

    I don’t predict this will end well for Sluggo, at least not at first. I see him landing in the water dish. I also see the dog licking him in gratitude for saving him and adopting him.

    Ghost01’s problem is not “Nancy”. He’s posted the same complaint in several other strips that I’ve had no problem with.

    “similarly providing a running narration "

    No…. plain and simple. My wife and I go out for dates at places like bowling, the waterfront at “the Harbor”, places where we can have activities… we wait for the DVD, if we decide to watch that movie…..sorry, you can’t “peg ’em all”…
    ==
    And besides, you comment on some of the same strips that I have before, and you would be guilty of the crime that you accuse me of…
    ==
    And you must not have paid attention to what I’ve said… if you look today, and the other days, many of us on here comment on the possiblilites…. not just me… I’m beginning to wonder if you’re just trying to live up to the last part of your name …. especially considering what I’ve just told to you about the comments on here, and previously…. well, you can’t have my goat, it’s not for sale…..

    I should distinguish, then… the commenter was saying to grab the dish and lead the dog to unwind, but I was pointing out what Sluggo said, that it’s unsafe to approach… cant grab the dish, if it’s within the dog’s reach… so I suggested that they make sure that it’s out of reach first, and * _ then_ * you can go ahead and do it…. if it’s not out of reach, at the beginning, then the plan is no good… they skipped that part of the problem, but I tried to not be disparaging……
    ==
    But there still would be the additional problem of upsetting the dog if it was panicked or in shock….

    No, this only means that as a “broken clock” (my metaphor for an imperfect person), I can only be right twice a day… ha ha!!! I’d better save it… lolll!! We all have our “times” to be right… (sorry, I love puns, too…)
