Nancy was created by Ernie Bushmiller in the 1930s. Since 1995, the strip has been drawn and written in Bushmiller's classic style by Guy and Brad Gilchrist. Nancy is famed for its gentle humor and surrealistic sight gags. Nancy's childlike innocence never wavers. She remains a devoted friend to her pal Sluggo, and can be, depending on the situation, a conceited prima donna or a fun-loving, cute and cheeky little girl.

All six panels very beautiful, both heroes looking tremendously cute. Great punchline, cuteness in Nancy’s expression cranked up to eleven. Love the art, the humor and the subtle but powerful Ernie style minimalism (check colors in houses fronts.) A true work of art,

Lots of rude people in Three Rocks.
But I bet the men would have a different answer if it was Aunt Fritzi offering to shovel their walks!

If Nancy ever grows up, will she get her bust from her aunt Fritzi’s side of the family or the other.
By the way, casual looking hasn’t told me whether Nancy is Fritz’s brother’s or sister’s child. Does anyone know?

I am assuming sense Nancy’s last name is Ritz (if she had that surname before being adopted) than she would be the daughter of Fritzi’s brother. Maybe Guy can enlighten us!

I saw the same thing almost word for word on Leave It to Beaver, a week ago (Antenna TV) when Beaver and Gilbert set up a lawn mowing service.

Nancy hasn’t grown an inch (in any direction) in the last 80 years. I doubt she ever will.
