    OMG! Their masks made me think of 2 classic Twilight Zone episodes; THE MASKS and EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

    This gag is very much in Ernie Bushmiller’s style for Nancy. Good work, Guy and Brad!

    Poochie’s “I’m sorry” expression in panel 1 is right on. My dog would look at me that way when she had done something she knew was naughty. Sometimes I did not know what she had done, but she would look at me with that “guilty” look, and I knew she had done something. (One time she dug up and ate the onion sets I had planted. At least they were good for her)

    Not intending to be overlly critical, but…
    There is something wrong in the last panel. It took me a few moments to realize that Poochie is walking with an unnatural gait for a dog – legs moving together on each side (like a camel or pacer) rather than diagonallly paired.

    I had a little collie/spitz mix. When she knew she was bad, she always ran in the room and crawled under the bed.

    @whitecarabao

    It may be a tribute to Ernie Bushmiller. I think he drew Nancy’s legs with a ruler, and she always walked like that too.

    Looks like poochie is in mid run or sprint. Also reminds of the human faced dog in the 1978 “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.” Some had kicked one of the pods and it had a pattern copy error.

    Never saw the first one. Or don’t remember it. Looks like a great episode. Almost all were. One of the best series of all time.

    Here is what was posted today in our blog on www.nancyandsluggo.com…..so you know where we are coming from when you visit our site and buy something…….thanks….

    LOVE IS AN ACTION WORD!
    We are all about Products and Services That benefit “Make A Wish” and “Wounded Warrior”, as well as other organizations : Guy Gilchrist has been drawing and writing the Nancy Comic Strip since September of 1995. We, Teresa and Guy, and our Publishers, believe in the underlying themes in NANCY, of joy and smiles,unconditional love ,compassion, faith, and freedom, and second and even third chances at happiness.

    NANCY and SLUGGO are orphans. NANCY showed up as an orphan on her Aunt’s front step in 1933. SLUGGO, another orphan, appeared a few years later. All oNancy’s pets are adopted. The NANCY comic strip is a terrific way to spread fun, joy, silliness and laughter around the world….and also hopefully do some good.

    We believe in helping today’s disenfranchised children. All over the world and in this country, there are the children of our fallen heroes, children who have lost their parents and families to all manner of life’s storms. While we pray and lift these challenged children up in faith, it is also important we do so in deed. LOVE is DOING. LOVE is an ACTION WORD.

    A percentage of all products sold here and on tour go directly to orphans through Make A Wish and Wounded Warrior. Sales of our Christmas records also benefit BoysTown. Sales of Dogg and Nancy’s Pets products and appearances directly support Animal Adoption and Rescue.

    We will post more in our blogs about how sales from our products are helping challenged families around the country and the world. It’s a little thing. Just us…and you. But isn’t that how love and change happens?
