    Oh, boy! I get to make the 1st comment! This reminds me of a story in Book of Laughs, a children’s book I had as a kid. The book has funny stories about a little boy named Marvin. In one story he’s leaning against a building & when a woman asks him why he says he’s holding it up. She tells him to stop being silly & leave so he does & the building collapses.

    Why is Nancy looking in the other direction when the tree falls down?

    Interesting idea, but it’s a “one-gag” character.

    @Stephen Treadwell

    I would guess it’s because she turned and was walking away and when he followed….crash!

    Reminds me of the scene in “Night in Casablanca”. Where an officer asks Harpo, leaning against a building, if he’s holding it up? Harpo nods, but the officer pulls him away, and the building collapses.
