Star Trek has become a journey of social commentary, the only one some folks can follow….

As I remember, the ‘paradise’ planet these hippies found had a biochemistry that was violently incompatible with humans. The plant life was poisonous and even the sap on the leaves caused severe burns.

Look at the 3rd season again cap, there are FAR worse episodes than Spock’s Brain. I think that one gets the worst wrap because it’s a funny title but ‘And the Children Shall Lead’ and ‘The Empath’ are dang near unwatchable… and I’m a HUGE fan!

I still enjoy Star Trek TOS, but after the movies and later series, TOS does seem a bit “campy” even if NASA did try to copy many of the futuristic innovations Star Trek came up with.

I just noticed that “CLASSIC MYTHTICKLE” was written in the Star Trek font! Fascinating!

The only thing I have a problem with is trying to find “Enterprise” on Netflix. Miss that one.

That was kind of the point. Be careful what you wish for. The commune experience of the 60’s ended up in disaster in the majority of cases. Eden doesn’t just “happen” You have to work for it.
