    There is a species of spider that can spit. A mixture of silk and gluey material to nail prey.

    Insensitivity knows no race, ethnicity, nation or religion. Neither does hypersensitivity.

    I call them flying rats but then I’m known for my bad attitude. I agree with BP bear but sometimes attitude overcomes ideals

    @Al

    You are also known for you lack of knowledge of taxonomy of mammals too.

    The first discernible bats appear in the fossil record about 53 million years ago. So they have a much longer pedigree than we do. Sure the tips of their wings still ha claws on them and they didn’t have all the equipment for echolocation yet. Without them you’d be eaten and also have your food an home infested with the millions of pounds of insects those bats you hate eat every day if bats disappeared tomorrow.

    Burrowing owls compete with desert rats it would seem for the same size hole. I have fixed the broken wing of two.pidgeons. They had opposite personalities. One.lived with me for years, not in a cage but fre3.

    Nope. Al mentioned “flying rats”, which is slang for urban pidgeons.

    And since the strip is talking about pidgeons, not bats, Al’s is right on topic.
