    Sir Dudley the Dud.

Sir Dudley is just reading the comics, so it’s not that important. And did we not just read in the last few days about how plants communicate? (Well, some of us did.)

This time I will defend Sir Dudley because he is reading the comics, and we all know those who read the comics aren’t all bad.

Venus, such a lady of drama. For here each striving is monumental, each blooming is a headline maker. For her they must all be seen and recognized for what they are not passed by as just another flower.

Flowers didn’t exist until during the long reign of the Dinosaurs. Interestingly bees existed before flowers. I wonder what they did then?

Venus looks much like the flower she is describing in panel 2. Her face shows so much expression as does her stance. Such a cute little character she is. Exceptionally well done big brother. ;:^)

Sir Dudley the dud indeed. What a grouch. He’s probably trying to read an old Freak Brother’s comic book and doesn’t want to be disturbed. 8-)

Her first sentence is slightly flawed. Better to change “is” to “be.”
I hadn’t noticed her strawberry anklets before.

You mean there were no flowers during the reign of the mammal-like reptiles?

Well flowers are alive and they do die.

What’s with Venus’ mustache and Van Dyke in panel two?

The first sentence, when taken in context with the rest of Venus’ lament, is fine. She is allowed grammatical license when waxing poetic.

If you mean the Permian (259-250) then yes. The synapcids like Gorgonops took a back seat to the dinosaurs afterward. Wouldn’t see another saber toothed carnivore till the first stabbing cats.
