Cheer up, Venus. I love you, you love you, and we love you, even if he, she, and they don’t love you! How’s that for a verb conjugation? :)

Cheer up, Venus! Bi-polar Bear loves you. We love you. And I’ll bet even Justin loves you!

Venus helps us to conjugate alight.

This punchline is too good for the “Love Is…” comic.

Poor Venus, that’s what happens when you pin your dreams to chance. Gamblers know the feeling well.

    Yes, I do love her.
But she’s not easy to draw.

But she’s so incredibly cute. Even when she’s frowning and feeling blue.

Pardon my Jung-speak, but I’d be willing to bet that no ENFP-preferenced character ever is. :D

Excellent! Now don’t tempt me to exercise my Hebrew conjugation of *ahav and rename her Ashtoreth.

Very good; in fact, you beat me to it! :) However, you’ve conflated the Latin Imperfect and the Future (which is, incidentally, exactly what happened when Latin became Italian). The correct conjugation of amare in those tenses is: amabam, amabas, amabat, amabamus, amabatis, amabant (Imperfect); amabo, amabis, amabit, amabimus, amabitis, amabunt (Future). In Italian, it became amavo, amavi, amava, amavamo, amavate, amavano (Imperfect only).

Very informative but do you have anything to say about today’s comic?

Jon-boy, we have bee through this before. Myers-Briggs is not Jungian, two housewives came up with those categorisations because they misunderstood Jung’s introduction to typology. Jung is still laughing at your lack of understanding and Myers and Briggs leaving out important parts of the enneagram.

Venus CANNOT be one of those boxes you try to put her in because she is an ARCHETYPE, not a kind of type.

And many languages predated Hebrew. Phoenician is a better source for ahav to become ashteroth, but there are three known cases where Aramaic ahava declines to astaroth.
