   There is a large rock in a rest area not far from where I live. It has a hole you can walk into and travelers leave coins there for good luck on the road. It was indeed lucky for one guy I knew who stopped regularly on his way past in the dead of night… (I’m a coin leaver, myself)

   In my cab driving days, there was one house where dollar coins(Canadian dollars) were embedded in the concrete. Either they were fake .. the owners were filthy rich(it wasn’t a rich neighbourhood) or they were incredibly stupid.
   I often wondered how many people tried to dig them out!

   Once you toss the money into the well or fountain you can’t take any out. (They do later but you can’t.)
