Not to nitpick, Justin, but the line from the carol is “DO you hear what I hear,” not “CAN you hear what I hear?”

…what melody do we sing this poem to?

But how, how I ask, can the Silent Knight slay belzring? I mean, he’s silent! Bonk!

This is one of my FAVORITE things you’ve done, Justin!! I love it every year! It has been incorporated into our family traditions!!!

Mute…deaf…and it seems his vision isn’t all that great, either.

Not much for rhythm, but the buildup of puns helps.

It is “can you hear what I hear.” They’re all walking around in cans.

As much as I love, love, love this story, it would be really nice to see a new Christmas story here sometime.

The Silent Knights real name is Tommy.

Perhaps they’re all walking around in cans; but if you’re going to parody the lyrics from Christmas songs, do it right: It’s “do you hear what I hear?”

But you are nitpicking. Don’t. He altered it to fit his story. Roll with it.

Just started reading “The Hobbit” which also concerns slaying of a dragon.

I totally agree with you about the nitpicking. It gets old. I just wish people could see past correctness and enjoy the story, one that obviously took quite abit of time and thought. Merry Christmas to all ;-)

This is one of my favorites also. I’m printing it out for our mom, Justin is my brother, as I don’t think she has ever seen it. It has become a tradition for my wife and I as well. Definately some of his best work. Merry Christmas to you ame_baby;-)
