Aristophanes: rain=Zeus pissing through a sieve. But I do like a god that laughs at his own puns!

So do Zeus and Thor share thunderbolts?

Maybe all the thunder gods get together for a drink.

Technically, it was Aristophanes’ character Strepsiades who said he had thought that’s what rain was, after Socrates told him rain came from clouds bumping together. But I agree wholeheartedly with your approval of Zeus laughing at his pun. Actually, the idea of a god laughing at anything is appealing.

So, oxybutinin…and how about a date with a hot nymph? That’s something Zeus never can get enough of.

Ain’t that the truth? LOL!! He sure was a horn-dog in those myths.

What confuses me, though… “Doctor” Zeus??

As always, I love Justin’s artistry as much as the gags.

Rain-soaked Karma is beautilfully done – her expression (breaking the fourth wall) is priceless, and her drenched hair is perfect.

The gods tended to be not just human but super human in their actions. Just imagine a human now give them super powers and what do you get? Lots of trouble.

On the HUB they started showing 1990’s Hercules with Kevin Sorbo. Fun to watch and see how they modified the myths to fit the stories. Love to watch them again. That and see the spectacular settings in New Zealand.
