Watching news on TV does tend to be depressing, Grail! –Especially if it’s news from the Near East!

As if he expected 3000 years of cultural hatred to just disappear. You have chosen…wisely.

So we’re just going to leave a newly hatched dragon to fend for himself. Even if we know that he’ll survive, he’s going to be really lonely. Lonely…lonely…. Probably fall in with the wrong crowd, get a tattoo on his forehead so that he can never get a good job.

great. a piece of stemware rooming with a tin can. I guess the dish ran away with the spoon. Wonder what the average monthly income is for a grail, and can he afford half the rent?

Maybe he should move after all. Then everybody would be fighting over him, and at least it would be something different.
Been over there almost two years ago, right when Pres. Bush was. Two cabbies, one a Messianic Jew and the other a Christian Arab (mutual friends), used the same analogy about Jerusalem. It’s not the 95% who don’t want to rock the boat you have to worry about; it’s the 5% (on both sides, for that matter) that want to sink the boat!

As long as we’re on the topic of Israel I happened to stumble on this the other day. I enjoy cultural music and foreign languages. This is Hatikva, the national anthem of Israel. It’s one of the few national anthems I’ve heard that is just nice to listen to, even if you don’t speak Hebrew. Enjoy!

Thanks again for a wonderful story, Justin. It’s nice to see new members of the Mythtickle Family. The Grrrrrrail (I always hear John Cleese in my head when I see that) will make a great foil for Dudley. And I know one thing for certain, we’ll be seeing Lil’ Boody again one day!

RE:Chuck1002’s pun from yesterday.
When you explain it like that it’s obvious. One of those subtle puns you don’t even notice until someone points it out. Not sure about anyone else but I just considered it as part of the plot and never really looked at it from a punny point of view until you described it that way.
RE: Also from yesterday, Justin? Dénouement? Man, you give some of us more credit then we deserve with that one. I’ve only had the vaugest notion what that one actually meant, had to look it up to make sure. Thanks for reinforcing my vocabulary. Always looking for a new word to master.

Sadly, the Grail’s homeland should look fairly familiar. These battles have endured for centuries.
