More like a IMPLAILING!! Will Lady Janine of D.E.T.A return & rescue Boody??? & what about Boody friends from the realm of Mythtickle? Will they get there in time to rescue Boody before it’s too late?? Stay “TOONED”!

By George, Boody is still in trouble. Let’s hope he doesn’t stick it out.

Dead Dragon sulking!
The artwork in this strip is but one of many that proves Justin’s worth as an artist . His stories prove his worth as a writer. Now all WE (as in faithful readers of his work) need to do is spread the word and find a worthy venue for “Mythtickle” (assuming the newspaper as a medium is indeed more doomed than Boody). Spread the word, post some of the strips on your ‘fridge or cubicle walls (the true test of a strips worth is the “Fridge Scale”, how many of a particular strip is dangling by a magnet on your ‘fridge), and let Justin know you think he ought to pursue publication. These strips can only benefit from being seen as a group!

Poor lonely Boody. Time for a rescue. C’mon Karma. Boody is a nice guy. Give him a break (jail break).

Read your blog - great work! I appreciate your sensitivities to modern religious people. It is indeed sad that we lack the HUMor that makes us HUMan. But it is in part because you work so well with the ancient religions that I like your strip so much. Will we be seeing anything of Zoraster; Coyote, Rabbit & Raven (the tricksters), or any of the many little people (Leprechauns and Japanese wood spirits among others)?
I would love to see your work along with Karen Armstrong’s History of God or The Great Transformation or Huston Smith or Joseph Campbell’s works. They are decidedly dry and humorless and a class in comparative religions needs all the HUM – hum-or, hum-anity, and hum-us (fertile soil as well as garbanzo dip) – it can get.

jestrfyl : Thanks! I enjoy my blog. Didn’t think I would, really.
I’m thinking that instead of willy-nillying my posts at random, I should post a blog entry each Monday since there is no comic on Mondays. That sounds fair. And as the inventor of Metamucil always said, “Gotta keep things regular.”
As for Mr. Campbell and Mr. Smith, I am a huge fan of both, but more particularly Huston Smith. I am in absolute awe of that guy.
Oh, by the way, Blue Raven- I commented on your post over at the blog. You make a very good point.
Cheers.

Justin - If you like Huston Smith and Joseph Campbell, you might also be interested in Holmes Rolston III.
I’ve heard him speak a couple times. Quite thought provoking.

At least it won’t be a lethal injection of lead. That stuff can be hazardous to your health!
