    Earlier, there was a discussion that Justin had possibly based some of his strips/story on Terry Pratchett’s Disc World. In somewhat of a turn-about, today’s Over the Hedge http://comics.com/overthehedge/2009-08-19/ mentions a possible basis for the Disc World itself. In Hindu mythology, Chukwa is a giant Turtle who supports a giant elephant which, in turn, support the entire Earth!
