It’s the Apple-Pi computer again!
It’s a good thing Karma harbors no harmful thoughts….

The really cool thing is that she wouldn’t actually do it…

Real non-violent thoughts there Karma…lol why does she remind me of myself sometimes?
Orgelspieler said, 5 months ago
Just remember Karma’s OTHER side. It’s apparently pretty scary.

Billyboy’s’ just lucky that ain’t D’viza. She’s got a habit of chucking spears at talk show hosts who tick her off. ( As Don Imus found out, two years ago at Xmas-time. )

Oh please oh please…could this be read by Keith Olbermann?

Starting a few weeks ago I’ve been actually listening to Bill O’Reilly to see if he is as bad as the Dems and leftward paint him, and to my surprise he has seemed very reasonable.
It’s Olbermann who comes across as a froth-mouthed raging lunatic. I guess that makes me an evil person. (But I still love Mythtickle).

Not evil, but very, very deluded.

How can the real truth be deluded? Bill O’Reilly just talks in plain, simple facts. He makes nothing up like some media members. He is not a raving lunatic. He does have basic values and stands up for them. Why is that wrong?

Uh Oh, I’m feeling a tremor in the Force.
Can we stop please before this gets really ugly? I realize that I might have incited this my using his name in the strip and if anyone is offended by it I’m sorry. I thought he’d be a good opposite for Karma.
But please, can we just talk about the strip here today? I’d hate to think I caused anybody to go after anyone else on here who is on one side or the other and wind up generating enemies.
Thanks, I’m not trying to censor anybody, I’m just trying to stave off the negativity before it gets bad.
Cheers.

Justin, thanks for the warning. Let’s all save our O’Reilly comments for SOTU. This is one of the few places where we can go that (hopefully) people will control themselves.
On the other hand don’t worry about posting a politically connected comic once in awhile. We’ll all try to be good and respect each others opinions. I know, it sounds too good to be true. But I think we can do it.

justin, thanks for wading in….the left will always disagree with the right and vice versa…..no amount of commenting will ever change either one’s opinion…..it can only escalate to name calling and more hate….

few! thanks man.

@Justin: As a suggestion, if you need the name of a specific person, try someone from sports. There are plenty of jerks there available for use as targets. For example, I’m thinking Michael Vick could use a visit from Karma.
If someone is reading this who doesn’t know who Michael Vick is, this NPR article by Frank Deford: http://tinyurl.com/plqsua is a good intro.

What a perfect way to vent. Just verbalize thoughts, with a full accounting of actions and as much feeling as necessary. Then release the negative energy and return to a placid, satisfied, calm demeanor. Carry on with your day.

Gods, but I love Karma when she gets into that state. Hearts, flowers, and graphic mayhem.

Justin, keep it up. Karma uses her imagination to wreak havoc IF she were the violent type- but wisely refrains from acting on it.
But her anger is JUST (pardon the pun) for for the comic impact.

It’s okay to disagree with someone. Dislike (hate) their opinions? Fine.
Making physical threats, even tongue-in-cheek, on the restroom wall is completely different. If I remember my days from grade school usually those kids spent a lot of time in either the principal’s or councilor’s office.
Successful media figures on both sides of the political aisle base arguments on facts and documented evidence or events. Not raw emotion.
EDIT (added): A statement on someone can be done without wishing harm on them.

I thought the whole point of the comic was that she didnt have these thoughts. The thoughts she expressed were the ones she WOULD have, if she did, but she doesnt so there is nothing to get upset about.

I’ve never actually watched O’Reilly’s show either, but I still have an informed opinion on the guy. You can’t hardly avoid him. I’ve seen him on other programs, heard him on the radio, seen his self-promoting books and read through them - and havent been impressed. In the end he’s a business man. And he’ll say whatever it takes to stay in business and make money. Just like Rush Limbaugh. Neither one necessarily actually believes half the stuff they say, it’s all just part of the act. Like professional wrestling. And the same goes for so called liberal media figures. If their income depends on them gaining and keeping an audience their opinion isnt worth diddly or squat.

CoBass probably had the best advice of them all, good idea.
