Yep, an oldie but, if pigs fly, swine flu. Remember to conjugate your verbs kids!
Homonyms and Homophones
Homophones are often used to create puns and to deceive the reader (as in crossword puzzles) or to suggest multiple meanings.
Incoming!
And btw any format is ok by me.

In a pig’s eye, a pig sty, is heaven on Earth, but a porcine pilot, in his plot, sought a higher berth.
His life’s mission, a lofty ambition, was to reach into the blue.
He even took lessons, over several sessions, and you know…the swine flew!

Acually, you’re wrong - h1n1 is NOT airborne, it’s only droplet-spread. So you can put away your facemask; just don’t let anyone with the flu sneeze on you.

I’ve always found the problem with flying swine is not the swine themselves. If you think bird droppings are bad…

I heard that it is actually a mutual mutation of the Avian and the Swine flus. So Justin is more on the mark than ever. Well Done!
Never stand under a WingedPig’s nest without a hard hat!!

Format is not a big deal to me - strong characters and well-conceived humour are the big draw of the strip.
Having said that, I must say that black and white with splashes of colour, when done well, can be a visually attractive format. It would also have the advantage of making Mythtickle stand out from all of the comics that choose one or the other.

Oh no, I am remembering all of the things I said I would do when pigs fly…I wonder if Swine Flu counts??

Since “swine flu” is the past tense of “pigs fly”, it seems to me that you should already have done them. So you’re late already!
