   I avoid that by going to bad movies. I went to the very first showing of Confessions of a Shopaholic and was the only one in the whole movie.

   And that’s why I don’t go to movies anymore. I hate people.
   *Although tonight I’m going to a midnight screening of Watchmen hosted by a friend’s show…”Big Kev’s Geek Stuff” and I’m hoping all the geeks in the audience will be quiet, or at least not talk loud and keep off their phones.

   I never went to movies for the peace and quiet. I could have that at home. I went to movies for the audience participation like “Rocky Horror Picture Show”, “Star Trek TMP (with a room full of Trekkies), and “Star Wars”. We cheer the good guys and boo the bad guys with comments along the way. You couldn’t hear popcorn munching or soda slurping.
