Matter of fact, Viking explorers DID get as far as Egypt…but by then it was under the Sultans’ rule.

Have you ever tried to build a pyramid starting at the top?

Roger, but not THAT one, the other one. says:

“Have you ever tried to build a pyramid starting at the top?”

Is that like the saying, “Build your castles in the air. That is where they belong. But then don’t forget to build a foundation under them”?

Better his rule than his rump!

Reminds me of a saying about a certain Archbishop of New York. When told that a priest had his eye on the Archbishop’s cathedra (official chair), he responded, “Well, he may have his eye on it, but I have my @$$ on it!”

It looks like he built his pyramid from the top down.

They have actually found Viking remains in tombs as far east as ancient China.
