Well, if Homer Addams faile in to fail, I think Norm can success by failing, as “The Producers”.
And why everytime Bridget tries to be funny she ends hurting Norm’s feelings?, Norm, if you end marrying with her, I fear you’ll end going into a bar every night.

    Well, at least she’s off broadway – Norm’s play isn’t going anywhere…

“The Producers” is about a financial scam. Only they fail and it becomes a hit.

@ Neo Stryder: Ed Wood did not plan to fail. Say what you will about his films, Ed Wood’s primary “problem” was that he made them on his terms outside of the then-current “Studio System” (in which the major studios owned/controlled pretty much ALL of the steps in the film distribution chain) and could never get proper funding for any of his projects — which meant that he had to scrape the bottom of the barrel, resource-wise, in order to get them made.

Also, limiting shots to one take did not help. Rarely does anyone get anything right on the first try.

@ MacDiver: Okay, yeah; you got me on that one. :-/ But, then again, he had to be very economical with his film supply. (I read somewhere that he sometimes raided the large studio’s trash bins to look for film stock that was just past it’s expiration date.)
