We still have plenty of possible doomsday scenarios. Most of them just plain horrifying. From nuclear war between Pakistan and India to the Yellow Stone caldera exploding covering the world in ash and killing off most life.

There have been some recent horrific stories of cannibalism in the news. Just search under cannibalism. Creepy to say the least and it would start that way if it was some kind of brain disease that would cause such behavior.
