Speaking as a Badger, ie, one who wears a badge, I must say that the Post its are not probable cause for a stop. I won’t say whether or not it might make me LOOK for a reason, though. Pity his license plate light is burned out, that sort of thing. Good bust Officer Koala, you never know where a stop might take you.

P.S. Will the American Association of Monotremes sue the PD for Officer Koala oppressing one of thier members?

And he didn’t notice those Post-Its when he came to his car? What kept them from flying off? Oh, such burning questions… enough to keep me awake for all of five seconds. :)

Is it just me, or does Norm look cute doing everyday things, like driving for instance. I dunno. It’s the art style. He’s just cute.

As soon as Bridgett bails him out, Ashley will pay.

They don’t arrest you for that. You just can’t renew your license and you have to pay the fine plus a late penalty. It’s expensive.

Yes, but keep in mind this strip is set in the future where anthropomorphic animals have replaced humans, the laws might have changed somewhat.

I believe I said the first part a while back, when you wanted Norm to do something less extreme. Now you know why I said that. Ashley (to up my former ante) is a demon disguised as a psychopath disguised as a sociopath.

They do in my state. If you don’t show up for court, they issue a bench warrant for your arrest. If you get pulled over for any violation, they take you to jail. They can also show up at your home or job to arrest you. They do this for speeding and parking tickets. It’s a matter of pay the fine or do the time.

I have arrested people for it.
