    Without religion there is no inherent meaning to life beyond basic biological needs, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be given meaning.

    We don’t need religion to give us a meaning, our brains are more than adequate to the task and does so all the time.

    When religious people speak of a lack of meaning, they think of some time beyond the end of humanity within the natural world. At that point, it’ll look as tho none of us ever existed. Therefore, only something outside of time can give us permanent “meaning.”
