    @DiPerri

    Finished the archive over the weekend. I’ve become rather attached to Judy. It hurts to see her cry, and warms my heart to see her smile. She is an exceptional kid. Goes to school, walks to work, arrives on time, works two hours in order to help out, then comes home to fix the meals, wash dishes, and after eating and bath probably tries to do homework around 8:30 pm exhausted. While not hungry, she doesn’t have what many of her peers have, including time after school to socialize. Rarely does she complain.Levi while I can understand his views is an acquired taste. I could have yanked him up by the ear concerning getting a dishwasher for Grandma, and not putting the paper down in Judy’s loneliness crisis.Read you were also a director, in addition to publishing books. Impressive. You also mentioned your appreciation for the printed comics. I have always enjoyed printed comics, and even saved them from packing boxes when I could. Used some for gift wrapping last Christmas. The family spent more time with the comics than the gifts. Given I shared a newspaper route in my early teens, which involved ink stained hands and a 50 lb. bag cutting into my shoulder through snow and heat the romance is tempered.Your concern for the newspaper industry is not totally unjustified. Please remember that we still have, books, magazines, radio, and television. While not in their golden age, none of these has been eliminated by the internet. Without the internet an individual without syndication would never be known let alone have sold books, which would be a shame given talented sherpas like yourself.I’m in your cheering section. Thanks for drawing.
