    I was TERRIFIED of Santas as a child, as well as clowns in costume. I understand it’s not uncommon, but my Dad was furious with me when I went hysterical after being FORCED into the lap of a costumed clown, and I got a spanking for it. Makes sense, right? Beat the kid so she’s not afraid?? Uh-huh.
