Reminds me of a gag from The Benny Hill Show: Someone cuts down a tree, then cuts off one of its branches and uses it as the handle for a placard that read, “Save the forests.”

Did you hear about the time Jeff ran over himself ?
He said “Mutt would you run across the street and get me a newspaper ?”
Mutt Said “No way”.
So Jeff ran over himself.

Thank you, Quartermain.
I love Mutt & Jeff… I’m 17 and yet I love old classics like these.

I like how they made a chainsaw type cut with axes.
I’m a lumberjack and I’m OK……

Musta been some guy with a very large chain saw. Axes wouldn’t be able to leave a cut like that.

They can’t hold a job anywhere but they stuck with that task???? No Way!!! No jury of comic enthusists would ever convict them of doing that much work!
