I love Jeff’s appeal to us in frame 4!

here’s why old strips are better – 5 panels and plenty of dialog.

I love Panel 4 too…
Mutt is getting a lot like Andy Capp. He’s afraid of work like some kids are afraid of the dark.

Jeff is always impeccably dressed.
I’m sure he’s good for a quick fin.

There was once a TV show called The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, in which Bob Denver played a beatnik named Maynard G. Krebs who’d have a panic attack every time someone said the word “Work.” He and Mutt would have made good friends.

To answer Jeff’s question, where else will Mutt find such an easy touch?

A typo about the e-mail in my 11-20 posting rendered it practically meaningless.
I’ll try to get it right next time.

@Number Three
He’s not afraid of hard work. He can sit and watch somebody do it for hours.
